We have covid to thank (read sarcastically) for those irritating QR codes instead of paper menus. So on top of dim lighting and small print on your phones, you hoped the meal received was actually what you wanted. In an upscale eatery, pretty tacky to be struggling with your smartphone while reading a menu. Fortunately there have been enough customer complaints to usher a return to the actual handheld menus.
